The Perioperative Anesthesia Reports (PAR) is the official publication of the São Paulo State Society of Anesthesiology (SAESP) since 2023 as part of strategic planning aims.

The Perioperative Anesthesia Reports publishes original works in all areas of anesthesia, critical care, palliative care, and perioperative medicine, including basic, translational, and clinical research, tech innovation, and education.

The Perioperative Anesthesia Reports is an electronic and continuous-flow journal that publishes only American English peer-reviewed Case Reports, Case Reports with Literature Review, Research Protocols, Systematic Reviews, Pictorial Reviews, Narrative Reviews, Letters to the Editor, Clinical Images, and Editorials.  

São Paulo State Society of Anesthesiology (SAESP) sponsors Perioperative Anesthesia Reports, allowing their associates to publish at no cost when the article’s first author is a SAESP associate.

The abbreviation of Perioperative Anesthesia Reports is Periop. Anesth. Rep. and can be used in legends, bibliographies, footnotes, and references.
